ScriptStride is a set of free browser-based tools for timing spoken scripts, planning target durations, measuring speaking pace and rehearsing with an online teleprompter.
Built for spoken content
ScriptStride helps creators, presenters, podcasters, voice-over artists, students, and speakers plan content that needs to fit a time slot. Use it for a video script, a presentation, a voice-over, or any other timed spoken content.
How the timing works
Speaking-time estimates use your word count and words per minute (WPM). Real delivery varies with pauses, emphasis, audience interaction, and speaking style. Use the estimate to plan and rehearse, then time yourself aloud to check the fit. It is a planning aid, not a stopwatch-perfect prediction.
Privacy by design
Pasted scripts are processed locally in your browser. Script content is not uploaded to the server or saved in localStorage. Only speaking pace and teleprompter font size may be stored as interface preferences. The site uses Google Analytics for page views and broad interaction categories; script text is not sent by the application.
